Campers have been rolling into Wahoo and there is plenty of room for more. Basic grilling out tonight while watching the Bristol Nationwide race! Tomorrow the race starts at 1:00 for the figure 8 guys and then have mower racing mixed in to help give everyone more time to work on their car. Entry fee for car and driver is $35, Pit passes $20 with general admission is $10 for adults and 5 and under are free.
NeFigure8n will be giving away 50 trophies Saturday night that cost over $2400!!! Trophies will be given out in the camper area/pit area after the race.
We will also have a free will BBQ in the camper/pit area after the race. A big thank you goes out to OTI/ the Ogorzolka family, Draper Family and the Ahlman's for donating all the food and supplies to make the BBQ happen! All the money made on the BBQ will go to purchasing fire extinguishers and wireless red lights to be at the races next season.
We will also be giving away some stuff from the Lottery, Agri-Cover, Minimizer Fenders, Klute Truck Equipment and Speedway while eating BBQ and handing out trophies.
OTI Racing and Walmart will be sponsoring the annual candy dash for kids! This will take place during one of the intermissions.
A big thank you goes to Chad Lechtenberg who owns Alternative Service & Repair in Davey, NE for sponsoring. Chad specializes in Propane injection in trucks and pivots, and works on large trucks!
Also want to thank Aaron Elkins for picking up all the trophies this week and getting the tickets from the lottery.
See everyone this weekend!

A big thank you goes out to all the drivers, pit crews, fans and officials who helped make the 2013 NeFigure8n Championship Race a huge success!!! 52 figure 8 cars put on a heck of a good show Saturday while battling the heat in Wahoo!
Again a huge thank you goes out to the Draper & Ogorzolka families for all their work to help make the BBQ happen, Chad Lechtenberg/Alternative Service & Repair for sponsoring along with Egr Construction and Colin for helping us raise money for safety equipment. We are now on the search for some portable safety lights and fire extinguishers to be at the races next year, as 100% of the money donated at the BBQ will go to purchasing safety items.
Thanks to Mike Wize for keeping the web site going and for handling the points series again this year! It takes a lot of time during the year and he had to do a lot of extra work Saturday to get the results entered in and calculated for the trophy presentations!
Hope everyone enjoys the trophies they won, had a great 2013 Nebraska race year and it's now time to start thinking about the color of the exhaust trophies for the 6th annual NeFigure8n Championship race in 2014!!!
Thanks!

I was wondering for your championship race next year you would be interested in holding a truck derby. I was at your show last Saturday and allot of people were leaving early and wanted to know to add to you day of events to hold a truck derby they do not last long and action packed if you do hold one see if figure 8 guys would be interested in this also gives them something new to try
